Agents that design like studios.
Studio Grade is an agent skill measured from 99 live sites by basement, Exo Ape, Work & Co, AREA 17 and 36 more. Your agent picks a direction, decides how loud to be, and audits its own work before you see it.
Eight briefs, eight agents. Every one built with the skill and passed by its audit.
All workThe problem
Every AI-built site looks the same, because it’s the average of everything. This skill was measured from the best of it, and it can tell when it’s being average.

Before a line of code, the agent commits to a spine.
A direction measured from real studio work, a register for how loud to be, five range axes so it doesn’t look like the last site, and a motif to carry through. Then tokens, then sections, then the audit.
The method- DIRECTION
- 7 Institutional (culture) — a festival is a programme to scan (nights, stages, set times, prices), so it gets the institutional system (semantic colour per stage, operational truth as type, visible a11y), played loud for
- REGISTER
- Loud — the bold device is colour as ground: every stage owns one saturated field, and the stage names run poster-scale.
- AXES
- ground colour-block system (black + HAL vermilion / SILO chartreuse / DOK ultramarine + bone for action) · type genre condensed gothic caps (Big Shoulders Display 800, 100–314px) · image medium type poster / kinetic type
- MOTIF
- the stage key, three blocks in fixed order HAL / SILO / DOK. 1 hero key bar (navigation into the stages) · 2 line-up colour code + stage filter · 3 day-programme stage squares · 4 ticket coverage bars (the 04–06 DOK segm
- VOICE
- "Music for the loud hours." · "Peak-time techno under the crane rails." · "Buy tickets. Doors Friday at 20:00."
The audit
It grades its own work.
Thirty-plus measured rules at 1440 and 390 pixels: type, contrast, colour logic, the template tells, mobile overflow, reduced motion, hero visibility, and the default look. Then it opens a screenshot of every screen and looks.
One command.
Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini, Copilot and every other agent on skills.sh. The audit needs Playwright in your project: npm i -D playwright.
